Roxio closes Napster purchase

Roxio has announced the completion of its acquisition of what amounts to basically all of the assets of Napster, the legally-challenged online music trading service. As part of the deal, Roxio has received all of Napster’s intellectual property, including but not limited to the name, trademarks, domain name, and their extensive technology portfolio, but none of the company’s pending liabilities or litigation.
