Built from ground up using Objective-C and Mac OS X’s Quartz Compositing
Engine, Cocoa Sprite Kit is a framework designed to make powerful 2D
graphics applications with ease. Although mainly designed for 2D games,
developers are encouraged to find more creative uses.
The Cocoa Sprite Kit (CSK) was inspired by Cocoa, valuing ease of
development and rich high level frameworks and functionality.
Recently there’s been a rash of questions that could all be solved with
Carbon Declare Library. So I’m just posting this email to tell everyone
that if you haven’t already done it, you should check out Carbon Declare
Library. It contains no less than 96 methods all having to do with declares
for Carbon, most of which work on Classic as well. It’s a very useful tool,
and has been contributed to by multiple developers here.
Oh, and I just updated it to a new version. It now contains 2 new functions
provided by Mr.
Karelia Software has released Watson 1.5.3, an update to its popular Mac OS X application that provides an elegant front-end to several Web services. The minor update corrects a problem with downloading and installing third-party tools. Watson costs US$29.
