Software Architects has begun shipping WriteDVD! Pro 4.0, the latest version of its DVD authoring software. WriteDVD! features a drag and drop interface, support for all DVD formats, diagnostics tools, and more. The software is available now for Mac OS 8 and 9 for US$99.95.

MacWise allows a Macintosh to be used as a terminal — connected to a host
computer directly, by modem, or over the Internet. The emulators support
video attributes such as dim, reverse, underline, 132-column modes, and
graphic characters sent from the host computer, as well as enhanced
Viewpoint mode.
The Draganflyer III, a unique radio-controlled helicopter with a micro video camera, is the focus of Apple’s latest Hot News feature. Zenon Dragan, the toy’s designer, used Macs exclusively to put together the videos of the device in action on his site. The Draganflyer III sells for US$749.
