Xupport update adds Journaling activation

Xupport 1.2.1 is the latest version of the application that provides a clean GUI (Graphical User Interface) to configure many Mac OS X options, which may be hard to configure manually. The software also includes several unix commands to optimize and secure your Mac, and activates features that are disabled by default. This update adds the ability to activate “File System Journaling” in Mac OS X 10.2.2, and includes minor corrections in the “Network” drawer. Xupport requires Mac OS X 10.2 or higher, and is priced at US$20.

Stupendous Software today announced the release of two new iMovie plugin packs, containing a total of 45 effects, eight of which are available for free in the demo versions of the plugins. This release brings the total number of iMovie effects available from Stupendous Software to 186, including 32 free effects. The new plug-in packs include Scratch & Dirt (23 effects, 4 free) and SplitScreen & PiP (22 effects, 4 free). The iMovie effects are priced at US$25 per plug-in pack, and require iMovie 2.1.1.

Mozilla 1.2.1 released

The Mozilla Organization has posted Mozilla 1.2.1, the latest release of the open-source Web browser for Mac OS 8.5 or later and Mac OS X. The update contains the fix for the DHTML bug that prompted the organization to pull Mozilla 1.2. Users of all previous versions are encouraged to upgrade to this release.
