FileMaker, Inc. today unveiled the newest version of its database software, FileMaker 6. Version 6 boasts a number of new features, including integrated XML import and export, multimedia and digital image import, new and updated templates, a global find and replace feature, and more. FileMaker 6 and FileMaker 6 Unlimited are available now for US$299 ($149 upgrade) and $999 ($499 upgrade), respectively. FileMaker 6 Developer will ship in September for $499.

Apple has started taking orders for WWDC 2002 Sessions on ADC TV (streamed online) and DVD (shipping in August). For US$800, developers can receive all the WWDC 2002 Sessions on ADC TV and on DVD, while for $300 developers can have access to one of the nine sessions on ADC TV only.

Pangea Software has released Otto Matic 1.2.2, a maintenance update to the action/adventure game, as noted by MacUpdate. An updated demo of the game is also available. Otto Matic sells for US$34.95; the game comes pre-installed on iMac, iBook, and eMac systems.

Sorenson and Totally Hip have teamed up to offer two new training seminars in New York. The LiveStage Professional Authoring Workshop takes place the weekend before Macworld Expo, July 13-14, while the Ultimate Streaming Seminar takes place the weekend after, July 20-21. Code Line has released Art Director’s Toolkit 3, its software that combines several utilities tailored for graphic designers and creative professionals. The new version offers several new features, including a robust Swatches feature that makes it easy to match colors and supports the Pantone Matching System. Art Directors Toolkit 3 is available for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X at the introductory price of $39.95.
