Apple has posted several new Switchers stories, as well as a new television ad featuring Tess Bethune, who describes how her iBook made her more productive.

O’Reilly & Associates today announced the release of “iPhoto: The Missing Manual,” co-authored by well known Mac writer and New York Times columnist, David Pogue. Also coauthoring the book are Joseph Schorr and Derrick Story. “iPhoto: The Missing Manual” covers choosing and mastering a digital camera, the basics of good photocomposition, and tips for shooting special subjects like kids, sports, nighttime shots, portraits, and more. The book retails for US$24.95.

Shares of Apple are trading down about 9 percent to US$16.25 in after hours, following Apple’s earnings release. Shares closed down $0.39 to $17.84 during the regular session.
