Steve Jobs: Next nine months “a bumpy ride”

Apple CEO Steve Jobs was quoted today as saying that the economic slowdown, which will probably last for another nine months, is going to be a “bumpy ride.” He told analysts that “We play the hand we’re dealt. We don’t see things getting better in the next six months, probably the next nine months, and that’s as far as our headlights go out,” but added that the downturn would be a great time to try to gain more market share for Apple.

Ten for X is priced at US$49.99, but will be $29.99 at Macworld Expo this week.
