Apple has added three new resellers to its Hot Deals program: Sweetwater, AudioMIDI, and Musician’s Friend. All three specialize in music and audio products and are offering several special deals and bundles.

Addonics today announced a faster version of its portable, external DVD/CDRW drive that features a 16x DVD player and 32x12x40x CD-RW. Like most Addonics products, the DVD/CDRW offers a flexible interface connection, allowing users to connect to USB 2.0 (US$279), FireWire ($299), or CardBus ports ($289). The drive comes bundled with Windows software only, but is compatible with Toast.
