Amtec today announced the release of Tecplot 9.2, a major update to the company’s versatile plotting and data analysis software with integrated XY, 2- and 3-D capabilities. Version 9.2 brings native Mac OS X compatibility. The update marks the first time that Tecplot, which was first released in 1988, has supported Macs. Tecplot 9.2 is priced at US$1,495 and begins shipping today.

Macworld Conference and Expo will take place January 6-10, 2003 at The Moscone Center in San Francisco. Apple has not yet released plans to stream the event via QuickTime or broadcast via satellite.
