Spinfree launches Singlefile Books to replace BookBin

Spinfree has announced that Singlefile Books, a Web-based service that allows users to keep track of their own personal book library, has officially replaced its BookBin book collection organizing software. Singlefile is Web-based, so users can access their collections from anywhere in the world using a Web browser. Singlefile is free for collections of up to 25 books, US$19.95 a year for up to 500 books, and $39.95 a year for an unlimited books in the collection.

Typeset 1.2.5 released

Vizspring Software today released Typeset 1.2.5, an update to its font management application for Mac OS X. Version 1.2.5 fixes a bug where font display items could incorrectly align, fixes a problem where preference data would be sporadically lost in previous versions, and includes various interface modifications. Typeset is US$15 shareware.

Fidelity Media has released MegaSeg 2.5, an update to the company’s mobile DJ and radio station automation solution for MP3/QuickTime mixing and programming. Version 2.5 offers about 80 new features and improvements, including intuitive management of song rotation, timed playlist events, and instant playback of drop-in clips and sound effects via hot keys. MegaSeg is available for US$169, upgrades are $49 for current customers, and free for those who purchased MegaSeg 2.1 after September 1, 2002.
