Handspring has launched a new holiday promotion that offers a US$150 mail-in rebate on its Treo 180 communicators. “Now, for a limited time, when you activate a new T-mobile service plan with select T-mobile Internet (GPRS) services, you’ll receive a Treo 180 communicator for as low as $99 after mail-in rebate.” Customers not interested in GPRS data service can get a $50 mail-in rebate with activation of a new Cingular Wireless or T-Mobile service plan. The Treo 180 combines cell phone, Palm OS PDA, wireless email, messaging, and Web browser functionality in one device.
