Unsanity today released Application Enhancer 1.2, an update to its freeware Mac OS X utility that allows users to enhance or redefine certain behaviors for applications by adding third-party enhancer modules. Version 1.2 adds a new APE Manager Preference Pane for configuration and management of the installed Application Enhancer modules, and better error reporting. Unsanity also posted ClearDock 1.2.2, an update to its Application Enhancer module that removes the Dock’s background in Mac OS X 10.2, as well as Metallizer 1.1, the latest version of its module that can add or remove the brushed metal appearance to Cocoa applications. Application Enhancer, ClearDock, and Metallizer are avaialble free of charge.
