Cloudswell, an Australian technology startup that develops and markets secure instant communications software, today announced the launch of their Secure Cryptographic Instant Messenger (SCIM) v1.6 product. SCIM is a client-server and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) real-time collaboration application, which addresses the needs of Enterprise Instant Messaging (EIM) users in providing a secure, encrypted, manageable alternative to competing IM products. SCIM Pro is priced on a subscription basis, including upgrades, at US$20 per year.
