WiebeTech has introduced 180GB (US$549.95) and 200GB ($599.95) versions of its Super DesktopGB FireWire drive. The new bus-powered 3.5-inch FireWire drives feature ATA-6 support and improved PowerBridge bus powering circuitry. Both drives are available immediately. In addition, WiebeTech has posted a brief White Paper, which explains the evolution of FireWire bridges to ATA-6 support.
