Apple and Microsoft’s Business Unit will announce on Tuesday that customers who purchase a Mac will be able to get a full-version copy of Office v.X for US$199, a savings of more than $200. According to c|net, the promotion is valid from October 1 through January 7, 2002. In order to take advantage of the offer, both the Mac and Office v.X must be purchased on the same day. Updated (09:55 EDT): Microsoft has officially announced the promotion, and issued a press release detailing the offer.
