An article on the Boston Herald’s Business Today Web site notes that “The Hub is close to stealing an Apple from the Big Apple, in a deal that could pump tens of millions of dollars into the city’s beleaguered economy, sources say.” In other words, Macworld Expo may very well be leaving New York and returning to Boston. According to the report, IDG World Expo, who organizes the event, is near an agreement with Boston City Hall and state convention officials to bring the Expo back to Boston for 2004. IDG World Expo chief Charlie Greco would not comment on the report.
