Sony today introduced the Personal Entertainment Display (PED) SDM-V72W, a new 17-inch flat-panel display that allows for toggling between numerous devices, such as game consoles, digital cameras, DVD players, and computers. The SDM-V72W offers full-screen viewing of 16:9 HDTV and DVD content, a 500:1 contrast ratio, and can handle up to four external devices. The display is available in high-gloss black or metallic gray, and includes a “credit card-sized” remote control, and integrated RS WOW technology speakers. The SDM-V72W PED is Mac and PC compatible, and is available now for about US$1,000.
