Microspot today announced the release of Microspot X-RIP 1.1, an update to the company’s professional large format printer driver for Mac OS X. Version 1.1 features speed enhancements, the ability to print over a network, and support for older printers. Microspot X-RIP is suitable for all types of printing, including CAD, technical illustration, graphics, publishing and photographic output. Microspot X-RIP 1.1 is priced at US$449, and is specific to Mac OS X 10.1.5. However, a free upgrade to Microspot X-RIP for Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) is included for any user purchasing version 1.1.
