Apple’s Final Cut Pro page notes that version 3.0.2 has been qualified for use with QuickTime 6 under Mac OS X 10.2, as noted by MacNN. Previously Apple has cautioned Mac OS X users to continue using QuickTime 5 with the software. Apple notes, however, that “users running earlier versions of Mac OS X should continue to use QuickTime 5.x.”
