Mark Malson has posted AutoTagX 1.0 for Mac OS X, which helps users organize their MP3 collection by providing an easy way to make sure the tags, file names, and folder names are consistent and correct. AutoTagX features a unified user interface to tag all the tracks in the folder at once, a FreeDB interface that fetches track names and album information, a multi-disc feature which tags multi-CD collections all at once, smart links to allmusic.com to access information, and flexible naming of track files and album folders. AutoTagX is priced at US$12.95; a limited trial version is available for download.
