Hewlett Packard today announced four new photo printers and three new digital cameras, as well as new photo paper. The HP Photosmart 130 (US$179), 7150 ($179), 7350 ($249), and 7550 ($399) printers feature up to 4,800 dpi printing and up to six or seven inks. The 130, 7350, and 7550 can print borderless 4×6-inch images and can accept CompactFlash, Secure Digital, SmartMedia, MultiMedia, and Sony Memory Stick cards directly. Additionally, the 7550 features an LCD screen and can edit and enhance photos. The printers are available now. HP’s new Photosmart 320 ($179), 620 ($229), and 720 ($329) are 2.1 and 3.3 megapixel cameras that will begin shipping in the fall. Additional details on both the new printers and cameras can be found in the press release — HP has yet to update its site with most of the products. Finally, HP’s Premium Plus Photo paper is designed to be used with HP’s new photo inks and new generation of inkjet printers. The matte paper is expected to ship in August for $19.99 per 20-pack, while a 4×6-inch glossy version will follow in October for $9.99 per 20-pack.
