Blackmagic Design and AJA Video today announced version 2.0 of the software for Kona SD, a 10-bit uncompressed QuickTime PCI video capture card for Mac OS X. The update includes a DV bridge for real time instant playback of DV edits to the SDI video output, full resolution high quality JPEG online capture and playback, Adobe After Effects preview output, new super high quality 64 bit RGB codec, YUV native rendering, and full compatibility with the forthcoming Mac OS X 10.2. The update will be a free download for current Kona SD customers.
