Apple’s market share creeps up in the first-quarter

Apple captured 3.48% of the PC market in the first-quarter of 2002, according to International Data Corp., placing it sixth among computer makers. As noted by MacCentral, Apple’s market share is up 0.4% from the previous quarter and up 0.25% from the previous year. Worldwide, Apple captured 2.4% of the PC market for the quarter, placing it ninth.
