SmartDisk today announced the availability of USB 2.0 versions of its FireLite portable hard drives, which are available in capacities of 20GB, 30GB and 40GB. The FireLite drives, which are backwards compatible with USB 1.1 and feature a strong, shock-resistant, lightweight casing, ship with Connectix CopyAgent for Macintosh users. Available in mid-June, the drives will retail for US$199.95, $259.95 and $309.95 for the 20GB, 30GB and 40GB models respectively.
