The Mozilla Organization has announced the release of Mozilla 1.0, the first major-version public release of the cross-platform Web brower. Release notes are available on the site and contain installation instructions, system requirements, what’s new, and a list of known issues. Mozilla 1.0 is available as a free download now. The press release also notes that Mozilla will celebrate this release with a party at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco at 8:00 pm on June 12, 2002. Additional parties are also being planned by Mozilla participants at 126 locations worldwide.
