Opera Software today announced its new Global Donations Program, which offers registered versions of the Opera Web browser to elementary schools, Web design schools, and organizations for the physically challenged. Opera 5.0 is available for both Mac OS 8/9 and Mac OS X. Registered copies of the browser normally sell for US$39 (less in bulk) and do away with the browser’s banner ad.
