In an interview with c|net, Steve Jobs offers commentary on the Xserve and Mac OS X. Jobs hopes Apple will end the year with 5 million Mac OS X users, a significant increase from the current 1.5 million to 2 million users. Jobs also notes that “the economy remains tough” and doesn’t see any improvement this year.
