SanDisk today introduced Cruzer, a pocket-size USB storage device that uses removable and upgradeable flash memory cards for storage. The Cruzer—which measures three inches long, one and three-fourth inches wide and about three-quarters of an inch thick—will accommodate both SD cards and MultiMediaCards. The device requires no extra drivers and is compatible with Mac OS 8.6 and later and Mac OS X. The Cruzer will be available in early 2002 in 32MB, 64MB, 128MB and 256MB capacities, ranging in price from US$59.95 to $199.95.
