Addonics Technologies today announced the release of its Combo CDRW/Copier, a device that allows users to create both original data, music, and video CDs from their computer or duplicate existing CDs without the use of a computer. Employing a 52x CD-ROM as a source drive and a 24x10x40 CD-RW as the destination drive, users can create a duplicate CD in under 4 minutes.

Stealth Signal, Inc. is now offering both Mac OS 7-9 and Mac OS X support for its Stealth Signal software, which works in conjunction with its yearly subscription service to track the usage of a computer or laptop, according to SecureMac.com . If the computer is stolen, the Stealth Signal Monitoring Service can be used to track down the computer and work with local law enforcement agencies to recover the stolen equipment.

Apple has identified and corrected a bug with the iPod that can cause a small percentage of the devices to temporarily not wake from sleep when the battery reaches a low charge level. All iPod owners are encouraged to download and install the iPod Firmware Update 1.0.2. The update also provides additional quality enhancements and support for additional languages, including Italian, Dutch and Spanish.

Live365, a popular Net radio portal that provides users access to a wealth of Internet music (including hosting their own station), has temporarily shut down after it experienced a glitch with its broadband service provider. The Live365 Web site notes that the company is “seeking to establish a deal with alternative service providers.
