LimeWire 2.0 is the latest version of the popular client for the Gnutella peer-to-peer file sharing network. Version 2.0 adds a number of new features, including a simplified interface, the ability to swarm downloads from multiple hosts, a new Ultrapeer technology that reduces bandwidth requirements, support for browser and file launching in Mac OS X, and more. While the basic version includes all of these features, a US$6 LimeWire 2.0 Pro is also available that removes banner ads and bundled software, as well as providing 6 months of free version updates.
