Dean Kamen’s highly anticipated invention, which has gone by the code words “Ginger” and “IT”, is a two-wheeled, battery-powered transportation device that can carry a rider up to 12 miles per hour, requirers just five cents of electricity for a full day’s charge, and is steered almost entirely by head movement. The New York Times has a full run-down of the device, which will officially be introduced later this morning on Good Morning America.
