The International Herald Tribute has published an article that highlights the reasons that Mac users use Macs, after an article two weeks ago asked readers to write in with their reasons. “I am impressed by much of what the writers had to say,” says Lee Dembart, who received more than 1,000 replies to his inquiry. “At the same time, my view, as I have written in the past about a number of subjects, is that the advantages of standardization almost always outweigh the specific benefits of a particular niche product that the majority of the world does not use.” The article concludes by asking Windows users to write in with their reasons for sticking with Microsoft’s platform.
