IBM has begun shipping ViaVoice for Mac OS X Edition, its third speech recognition title for the Mac and the first such application for Mac OS X. Among the new features, ViaVoice for Mac OS X reduces the time the application needs to learn a person’s voice, takes advantage of the Power Mac G4’s Velocity Engine, and can be used to navigate the Finder.
