The Boston Globe has chimed in with its review of Apple’s iPod, which impressed the reviewer but not enough to overcome the unit’s price tag and Mac-only compatibility. “Imagine all the music you own, perhaps all the music you’ll ever want to own, tucked into a jacket pocket so you can listen wherever you are. Now imagine paying $400 for the privilege. Personally, I’d rather hum. But that’s just me, a tightwad born and bred, and a Windows computer user to boot.”
