In a somewhat curious report, Alyssa Jaffey of IdeaAdvisory says that Apple’s introduction of AppleWorks 6.2 yesterday will not have a significant impact on the company’s bottom line — not particularly surprising given the software’s low price point and the free upgrade for current 6.x owners. Additionally, Jaffey says she wouldn’t be surprised to see Apple miss this quarter’s numbers when it reports earnings on July 17, and furthermore, wouldn’t be surprised to see Apple make further downward revisions to its future outlook. Jaffey has set a US$25.50 price point for shares of Apple for the next 2-4 weeks.
