Neon Software Announces CyberGauge 2.0
LAFAYETTE, CA – April 23rd, 1996 – Neon Software announced today an upgrade
to their popular MacOS Internet bandwidth measurement utility CyberGauge.
Version 2.0 enhancements include the ability to monitor network interfaces
on multiple routers, automatic creation of JPEG format graphs of bandwidth
data, and auto-discovery of the routers which connect your Macintosh to the
CyberGauge is an inexpensive yet powerful Internet management utility which
allows users to monitor and analyse the throughput of virtually every
Internet router available on the market. Based on the industry standard
management protocol, SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol), CyberGauge
can also be used to determine bandwidth utilization on many
network-connected devices, such as switches and hubs.

Macintosh versions of CyberGauge 2.0 are available immediately directly

With the launch of CyberGauge 2.0, new pricing is introduced based upon
number of devices supported – CyberGauge is now available in 2, 5, 10 and
20 device versions.
The basic configuration of CyberGauge, which now supports 2 devices,
remains priced at $139 (SRP). The 5, 10 and 20 device versions are priced
at $295, $495, and $695 (SRP) respectively.
Upgrades to 2.0 from 1.x of CyberGauge are free from Neon Software’s
website. Owners of CyberGauge 1.x may purchase an updated 2.0 manual and
