Once again Apple has used its built-in malware protection system to disable Adobe Flash on Macs over security concerns. Version 11.8.800.94 and earlier has been blocked.

The lockdown means that only the most recent version of Flash, 11.8.800.168, will run on OS X Snow Leopard, Lion, and Mountain Lion, reports “The MacObserver” (http://tinyurl.com/qzls9f3). The security vulnerabilities could allow attackers to take control over victim’s systems and run malicious code.
