A new study by StatCounter (http://tinyurl.com/n2ruq4w) has found that more folks worldwide are using Samsung-made smartphones to access the Internet than are using the iPhone, reports “AppleInsider” (www.appleinsider.com).

This is the first time this has happened. StatCounter says that, in June, Samsung devices accounted for 25.43%of smartphone Internet usage, compared to 25.09% for Apple’s smartphones. Samsung’s share has grown from 19.46 percent just 12 months ago.

Apple’s share over the same period has shrunk from 25.43%. However, in the U.S. and the United Kingdom, StatCounter says Apple is still the clear leader in smartphone web usage.
