The TransPod broadcasts the iPod’s music to any FM radio frequency from 88.1 to 107.9, while simultaneously charging and cradling the iPod in the car. New features include an industrial design that the company says accentuates the iPod, automatic intelligent power management, controllable backlit display, programmable preset stations, and more.

Digital Lifestyle Outfitters today announced new Black and Silver versions of their TransPod Direct Car Solution for iPod and iPod mini. The DLO TransPod Direct comes with a built-in charger for the iPod, a cradle to position it for easy access to its controls, a cassette adapter, and a mini plug cable. In addition, the DLO TransPod Direct offers a direct connection to the car stereo that integrates the high-quality line-out audio signal from the bottom of the iPod.

Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) today announced that its TransPod all-in-one car solution for iPod is fully compatible with the new iPod photo. The US$99.95 device lets owners transmit, charge and secure their iPod in while in their cars. “After extensive testing, DLO now confirms the iPod photo fits the TransPod as well as the current lineup of 3G, 4G and mini iPods,” the company said.

DLO has announced the TransPod II, a new version of its device that allows iPod owners to use their iPods in their cars. Like the original TransPod, the TransPod II allows users to simultaneously charge, mount, and listen to their iPods through their car stereos. The TransPod II has the same sleek design of the original, but features a cassette tape adapter and auxiliary cord that plug directly into a user’s car stereo instead of the FM transmitter found in the original TransPod. It will start shipping later this month for US$99.95.
