TikiMac today introduced the Big Tiki Drive, a hi-speed USB storage device in the form of “a big, grinning Tiki idol, complete with hypnotic glowing eyes and a blinking aura.” The Mac and PC compatible device is available in 256MB ($59), 512MB ($79), 1GB ($119), 2GB ($229) and 4GB ($429) capacities. TikiMac offers aluminum Kuna FireWire/USB drives

TikiMac today announced the immediate availability of its new Kuna series of external hard drives. They feature an all-aluminum case, two FireWire ports, one USB 2.0 port, and an interlocking design that allows users to stack multiple Kuna drives horizontally or place the drive vertically with its upright stand. The Kuna comes in a variety of capacities, ranging from 120GB to 400GB (7200RPM/8MB), with a suggested retail price starting at US$169. Read More

TikiMac offers multi-color LED mouse pad

TikiMac today announced LavaPad, a user-selectable multi-color LED mouse pad for Mac and PC systems. LavaPad allows users to select any one of seven color combinations or a special color-cycling mode, through a tiny push button located on the pad itself. Power is supplied to the mouse pad’s LED lighting system via an integrated 6 ft. USB cord. The US$29.99 mouse pad is available for ordering today and will begin shipping on June 1. Read More
