Runtime Revolution today announced the release of Revolution 2.7.4, the latest version of its versatile and flexible cross-platform development tool available, with the broadest operating system support: Windows, MacOS X Universal Binary, Linux and Solaris. New features of this release include: Hover Icon; proportional resizing; hold down shift and resize any object keeping the proportions exactly as you want them; multiline tooltips — developers can have their applications display much longer and informative tool tips; rev insert XML node.

Runtime Revolution today announced that it will be attending Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) next week in San Francisco. During WWDC 2004, Runtime Revolution said it will be showing off features that are currently in development for the next phase of Revolution, its user-centric software development environment. Runtime Revolution today announced the availability of Revolution 2.2, the latest release of its US$299 software development environment. Version 2.2 provides improved appearance on Mac OS X and Windows XP, an all-new standalone builder, improvements to the database linked controls, additions to the Transcript programming language, and enhanced performance and stability.

Runtime Revolution today announced Revolution 2.1, the latest update to its multi-platform software development environment. Version 2.1 will contain several improvements, including the addition of the “metal” appearance, drawers and other “Aqua-friendly” enhancements. In addition, the Revolution product line has been broken up into three new editions.
