RouteBuddy has established partnerships in India and Europe with two leading companies in the digital map data field. Welcoming the teams from CloudMade, based in London in the UK, and ML Infomap of New Delhi, India, RouteBuddy  looks forward to a growing use of its consumer mapping application across a  wider range of countries, as well as being the first in the field with a consumer  mapping application covering both The Isle of Man and India. RouteBuddy 1.2 GPS mapping software released

RouteBuddy today announce the release of RouteBuddy 1.2, a major update to their GPS mapping software for Mac OS X. RouteBuddy provides native Mac OS X support for Garmin GPS devices, and allows users to manage and display their GPS data in conjunction with a set of high-precision, vector-based road maps. Version 1.1 adds support for address searching, improves routing, and introduces a new compressed map format that uses up to 50% less disk space. This release also includes over 20 bug fixes and improvements.

RouteBuddy is priced at US$99.50, and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
