The new RoadTrip version allows users to listen to their favorite audio files through a car stereo system using the 87.7 FM radio frequency. Newer Technology and Other World Computing today announced the availability of the NewerTech ‘RoadTrip!‘ FM transmitter, an adapter that allows iPod users to broadcast their favorite audio files from an iPod through a car audio system using the 107.7 FM radio frequency. The RoadTrip! FM iPod transmitter connects to a vehicle’s 12-volt cigarette lighter and has a 3.5-millimeter stereo jack that is compatible with all four generations of iPods, the iPod mini and most personal MP3 and audio players.
