Apple, Reprise to offer blank ‘Rings’ CDs
Apple Computer and Reprise Records today will announce a new promotion offering blank “Lord of the Rings”-themed CDs, reports the LA Times (free subscription required) staff writer Jeff Leeds. The purpose of the promotion is to encourage fans to purchase the CD and use it to record the film’s soundtrack bought from Apple’s iTunes Music Store.
