Apple delivers world’s first 17-inch notebook
Apple today unveiled its new 1 GHz 17-inch PowerBook G4 at Macworld Expo in San Francisco, the largest screen notebook on the planet. The new PowerBook is encased in an aluminum alloy enclosure, measures 1-inch thick, and weighs 6.8 pounds. In addition, this beast includes built-in AirPort Extreme 54 Mbps 802.11g wireless networking, new high-speed FireWire 800, a backlit keyboard with ambient light sensors, built-in Bluetooth connectivity, and a slot-loading SuperDrive.
