REALbasic sessions offered at OpenBase conference

OpenBase International and REAL Software will provide how-to sessions on developing database applications using REALbasic as one of the offerings at the OpenBase Developers Conference, which will be held in Maui, Hawaii, Sept. 2-6. The REALbasic sessions will look at the basics of the REALbasic IDE, object-oriented language and framework, as well as present the OpenBase REALbasic plug-in interface, cover the correct use of transactions, record locking, and other database features as they apply to REALbasic.

OpenBase Developers Conference set for September

The 2004 OpenBase Developers Conference will be held at Kaanapali Beach in Maui, Hawaii, Sept. 2-6. The purpose of the conference is “to provide in-depth information on OpenBase SQL database products, technology and development environments, as well as the opportunity to have fun and network with other developers in a great location,” according to Saina Ranta, director of operations at OpenBase International. Sessions will cover the inner workings of OpenBase SQL and advanced administration and programming techniques.
