Mozilla, Safari global usage share increases

OneStat.com reports that the global usage share of Mozilla’s Web browsers has increased more than 1 percent to 8.45 percent since November. According to the Web researcher, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is down 1.62 percent to 87.28 percent. Meanwhile, usage of Apple’s Safari Web browser has climbed from 0.3 percent to 1.21 percent since November.

Safari global usage share increases

OneStat.com today reported that the global usage share of Apple’s Safari Web browser has jumped from from 0.48 percent to 0.71 percent since January 2004. According to the Web researcher, Microsoft still dominates the browser market, with all versions of Internet Explorer accounting for 93.9 percent. Mozilla’s global usage share is 2.1 percent and Opera 7 has a global usage of 1.02 percent.

OneStat.com: Apple’s Safari browser shows promising start

OneStat.com today reported that Apple’s Safari Web browser has shown a fast adoption rate with a global usage share of 0.11 percent in the first weeks of its public launch. According to the Web researcher, Opera 7 was not as successful as Safari in the first weeks of its launch, with the alternative browser only capturing a global usage share of 0.03 percent. Microsoft still dominates the browser market, with all versions of Microsoft accounting for 95.2 percent.
