Media Lab today announced that AlphaMania and the Effector Sets are now available for Mac OS X. “AlphaMania 2 + Effector Sets are the only tools that allow Director authors to include video-style special effects that render and composite live on stage as their project is playing,” said Chris Perkins, CEO of Media Lab.

Media Lab today announced that PSD2FLA, its popular plug-in that allows users to save their Photoshop files directly as an editable Flash file (.fla), is now available for Mac OS X. “Users simply save their Photoshop file in Photoshop, select the File — Export — PSD2FLA menu and decide whether or not they want invisible Photoshop layers exported and the file to be opened in Flash.
