MacForce, an independent Apple reseller, is making the high-tech home a reality with its new InnerSpace center, a showcase of digital lifestyle technology opening Friday in Portland, Oregon (100 S.E. Salmon). InnerSpace, designed to mimic a home environment, will feature technology that helps automate home appliances — using a computer to control everything from lights, heating and alarms, to controlling a home theater all without lifting a finger.

MacForce, an authorized Apple service provider and reseller, has announced that it, in conjunction with Apple, will present the Macintosh Pavilion at the Portland Information Technology Exposition & Conference (ITEC) on December 11-12, 2002. MacForce will also be providing free seminars and giving away an Apple iPod.
