Keyspan today revealed a new black version of its “TuneView for iPod,” the company’s LCD-based iPod remote. The new black enclosure will be standard on all TuneView remotes beginning in May, and will also be available as an accessory for existing TuneView users. Keyspan’s US$179 TuneView iPod remote features a color LCD screen and 2-way RF connectivity that works through walls at distances of more than 100 feet, providing a way to browse and manage an iPod throughout a house.

Keyspan today announced that updated firmware is now available for its TuneView for iPod, a remote with color LCD screen and 2-way RF connectivity that allows users to browse and manage an iPod throughout their home or office. The update increases scrolling speed, adds the ability to jump to a specified first letter within a large list (e.g. in a collection of 8,000 songs jump directly to those starting with “L”), and improves overall wake-from-sleep performance. TuneView for iPod is available now for US$179.
